Erica Shelton started with Shelton & Steele as an intern. She has worked in various roles including research, analysis & recommendations, developing social media and brand marketing materials, as well as training programs for the firm.
She now works directly with Shelton & Steele’s client CEO’s and Managing Partners. This includes law firms ranging from small in size to the largest of AmLaw’s. Erica composes Client Narratives and subsequently develops bespoke recruitment strategies for Shelton & Steele clients She also works with attorney candidates to help develop Move Requisites, Market & Practice Evaluations and Candidate Narratives.
As Shelton & Steele’s Director of Marketing, she analyzes our enterprise architecture to ensure optimal structure, tech, and training during growth period. Our clients benefit from her experience in core areas of marketing such as branding, candidate insights, marketing ROI, and digital marketing. This includes gathering and analyzing information, formulating and testing hypotheses, and developing and communicating recommendations.
Erica is an accomplished public speaker. She gave her first speech to a Toastmaster's club at the age of thirteen, joined the champion Green Valley Speech & Debate team her freshman year in high school, and became the University-Wide Public Speaking Champion at UNLV by her Junior year of college. She was the youngest Vice-President of Public Relations ever elected to the position at Henderson Toastmasters.
In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering, public speaking, attending business and networking mixers, reading and playing competitive tennis. A hospitality student at UNLV, Erica was a member of Alpha Delta Pi, mentioned on the UNLV website for her success hosting a business fundraiser for the NCCS, and has a taste for old world wines.
