"You’ve Been Replaced by AI"

That sentence is going to be heard a lot, beginning now and continuing in the future. That’s the bad news but there is good news too!

I have a cousin whom I love dearly. She does gig-work for our firm from time to time and I had some projects I needed her to do for me.

Nothing overly complex. She would do some research to find specific types of law firms with parameters set for number of attorneys, practice areas etc. Then should would find the names and emails of the managing partners and do reach-outs and follow up via emai.

I bought her a new computer, and she received it Friday afternoon. Over the previous weekend, I figured out how to do everything she was going to do, with agentic AI.

"Congratulations on your new computer!"

I started and then went onto explain the fruits of my experimentation with agentic AI. I now had an agent that was a 24 / 7 automated version what she was going to do for us. Fortunately, she still has her main job and there are other things we can have her do. The bad news is that’s going to happen a lot.  

The good news? We just made an offer to a new MA’AM i.e. Market Analyst and AI Manager. My consultants and I work on 3 - 4 different AI platforms every day. We easily input over 100 prompts and chain prompts per week. Each of those prompts produced 3 – 4 variations per response. That’s thousands of prompts and responses per month. Some are garbage, others are gold. It’s time for Data Asset Creation i.e. organizing and managing all that data so that it’s easily searchable, retrievable and can be transformed into training videos, marketing content etc. I also need someone to provide Human Eyes Failsafe, to all the tasks our newly created agents will be performing.

That job didn’t exist 5 years ago. Lots of jobs that don’t exist today, will be common a year from now.
